So, downloaded the latest beta from the forum, copied it to the install folder, and when I open up HS, it says new updates are available, and wants to download the 279 beta.

I haven't updated the server yet, so Hazard Shield sees that the newest version available is 2.2.0.279. Hazard Shield doesn't actually check to see if the version on the server is newer, it just checks if it is different or not.
