Can't really say for sure but I received over a thousand items following an ADS scan on the 2.2 beta.....it appears that these items could be harmful and the notation and name implies that they are..... how do I know for sure before I begin to delete them?
Also, if they are harmful and I begin to delete them, is there a way to delete them other than one at a time?

Hello,
You can read information about ADS here. There is a bug in Hazard Shield that causes a message box to display every time an ADS is removed. This will be fixed in the next release. To view the contents of an ADS, right click on the ADS in Hazard Shield and select the Write ADS to File option. We will try to simplify the process of detecting malicious ADS soon.

Thanks for the reply......
Understand your message box bug, however, I am still not sure whether the 1000+ ADS items pointed out by HS are valid......what am I looking for when I click on them and which ones to delete?

If the size of the ADS is 0, the item can probably be ignored, since there is no data in it. Also, if the ADS has a name such as encryptable or Zone.Identifier, it can probably also be safely ignored. I will add an option to the ADS scanner to only display suspicious ADS.
Also, keep in mind, the ADS is not part of the file, so deleting an ADS will not affect the file it is attached to in any way.
